Nederlandse lezers weten vast dat ik nu aan 'holle bolle gijs' denk: "Papier hier, dank u wel" :)
It's not easy to clarify the title, a nursery rhyme and a Dutch fairytale theme park (Efteling) are involved :)
With me not really liking the outcome of the blanket stitch book, I made an extra book for Anneke. One of a kind I wanted to do for some time, so I pulled a variety of papers from stash, some gauze, a huge button (2"), a piece of string and started sewing.
Straight forward sewing, chain stitch on head and tail, a cross stitch at the gauze tape, for some extra support (and prettiness :).
Some of the pages got little bits and pieces, postage stamps, stamped images, postcards, antique ledger paper, transparency, stickers and more.
It became more fun with every find to dig into my stash, it's a good thing I only had one night to work on it, it would be completely filled otherwise *lol*
Ben benieuwd hoe (en of) Anneke dit zootje ongeregeld aan gaat vullen...
I'm curious to see how (and if) Anneke will add to this irregular mess...
Size of the colored mulberry paper is appr. 5" in height. Sheets contain pages from an eighties phonebook, cake liner, writing paper, squared paper, envelope, flower paper and a piece of a road map.
