After making a test binding last week I made the same binding again. This time with the cover and 'weaving' strips from brown Zaansch bord.

De strip waarmee ik de weefbinding maakte heb ik 'gerafeld gelaten, het papier heeft gewoon niet veel opsmuk nodig.
The strip I used for weaving frayed a little on the way, that just happens when 'weaving' paper strips. I like the effect and left it that way, the paper just doesn't need much adornment.
Aan de lange randen van de strips zie je nog de schepranden
On the long sides of the strips you'll notice the deckled edges
Dit papier leent zich heel best voor bindingen zonder garen en lijm
This paper is just perfect for bindings without sewing and glueing
