Sinds een paar uur zit dit mini-duifje in de tuin. Het beestje is ongeveer van lijsterformaat (beetje kleiner) en heeft knalrode oogjes. Ik denk dat het uit een voliere is ontsnapt...
Since a few hours this mini-pigeon is sitting in the garden. The creature is about the size of a song thrush, a bit smaller, it has bright red eyes. I think it escaped from a aviary...
Onze nieuwe slaapkamerkast wordt vandaag geplaatst en de mannen hebben alle planken voor de deur van m'n atelier gezet, daar kan ik dus nu niet in, net op m'n vrije dag.
Our new wardrobe closet is installed today and the carpenters put all the shelves in front of the studio door, no entry there for me on my day off from work.

ReplyDeleteThat's a Diamond Dove, I used to keep a pair of those. Poor chap looks very cold and fluffed up. I think that is a male, if you get a pair side by side the male has a larger pink ring to his eye.
Lovely birds with a very pretty call too. They are sensitive to the cold weather though, so I hope he finds some shelter.
