Wednesday Stampers: Inchies

Ik blijf dit mini-formaat leuk vinden. Je kunt deze week heel veel mooie inchies zien bij Wednesday Stampers!
This tiny size is one of my favorites. You can see a lot of gorgeous inchies this week at Wednesday Stampers!

Achtergrond is (weer) een restje, de vogel is van Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz. Letters van Ma Vinci's. Op de achtergrond zijn een krul en stipjes gestempeld van AudDesign.
Background is a scrap (again), bird is by Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz. Alpha by Ma Vinci's. The bg swirl and dots are by AudDesign.

Gothic Arches: Party Time!

Zou Nancy een betere dag hebben kunnen uitzoeken om me gastvrouw te laten zijn bij GAC dan vandaag? Dus het enige thema dat ik kon bedenken was "Feest!". Ik ben heel benieuwd wat iedereen er van gaat maken. Dank je wel Nancy!
Could Nancy have picked a better date to ask me to be guest hostess at GAC? That's why the only theme I could think of was "Party Time". I cannot wait to see what everybody else will be making. Thanks Nancy!

Op de mijne: een boel acrylverf en glitter. Ik vind dat stel vintage meiden in die enorme tuinbroek helemaal geweldig.
On mine: lot's of acrylic paint and glitter. I love the two vintage girls in that large overalls.

En als je jarig bent mag je trakteren. Ik heb de achtergrond van de arch van vorige week gescand voor ieder om te gebruiken. Of je er nu een arch mee maakt of er een atc uit snijdt, maakt niet uit. Maar als je 'm gebruikt dan zou ik het erg leuk vinden als je me een berichtje stuurt :)
Celebrating your birthday means you are allowed to treat friends. I have scanned the bg from last weeks arch for all to use. Use it as it is for an arch or cut an atc, feel free to do as you wish. I would be delighted when you let me know when you use it in a project :)

Bloemenmeisje / Flower girl

Is ze geen schatje in haar stippeltjes jurk?

In de bloemetjes zit een klodder Glossy Accents met wat gouden glitter.

Mijn restjes / My scraps

Net heb ik even de bakken met restjes op mijn tafel gezet zodat ik ze kon laten zien. Het is wel duidelijk hè? Ik kan nog tijden vooruit zonder ook maar een nieuw vel in stukken te hoeven hakken... Voor de kenners, de bakken komen bij de Action vandaan.

In de bovenste bak liggen wat grote vellen vellum, die komen van reclamekalenders af. Ik ben zuuuuunig! *lol*
The top container (engl.?) has some large sheets of vellum saved from a promotion calender. I'm cheap! *lol*


Op dat vellum is dit schattige meisje (Art Journey) gestempeld.

Nu maar hopen dat de Griekse tekst niet al te gek is, want ik heb geen flauw idee wat er staat :)

Achter de foto is een restje gekleurd papier. Het donkerbruin is van mijn zelf gebrouwde walnoteninkt.
The dark brown is a scrap of my homebrewed walnutink stained paper.

De meeste restjeskaarten zijn 10x10 cm.
Most of my scrap cards are 4x4".

Nog meer restverwerking. Wordt het al vervelend? Zet je dan maar schrap want de komende dagen ben ik van plan nog meer restverwerking te laten zien!

FFTT: where was my head- take 1

Eigenlijk had ik deze mee willen laten doen bij FFTT maar toen ik dit berichtje typte bedacht ik me dat het een briefkaartformaat moet zijn... Dus met recht: 'waar zat ik met mijn hoofd?' *lol*

At first I had this one made for FFTT but when typing this post I remembered the work has to be postcard size... So that was me thinking: 'where was my head?' *lol*

Als je op de kaart klikt zul je zien dat de lijnen van het muziekpapier doorlopen over de vogel, dat gebeurde helemaal per ongeluk. De strepen zitten op het Basic Grey papier en m'n vogeltje besloot net daar te landen. Geluksvogel (ik dus) .
When you click on the card you will notice the lines from the music paper continue on the bird, well that was entirely by accident, the Basic Grey paper has this lines and my bird happened to land on them. Lucky bird (that's me).

Deze arch is gemaakt met Hermine's herfstkleurenopdracht bij WS en Godelieve's bloemenopdracht bij GAC in mijn achterhoofd.
This arch is made with Hermine's Autumn colour challenge at WS and Godelieve's Flower challenge at GAC in mind.

Nauwelijks te zien maar hier is heeeeeel veel inkt aan te pas gekomen.
Hardly visible is the laaaaaaaarge amount of ink I used on this one.

FFTT: Fish out of water

De eerste opdracht bij FFTT is "Vis uit het water'. Hmmmm Ik zou me in deze situatie ook niet zo op m'n gemak voelen...
The first challenge at FFTT is 'Fish out of water'. Well I wouldn't feel comfortable too in this situation...

En omdat van mijn eerste kaart alle visjes in de postsorteermachine zijn achtergebleven, heb ik deze keer een envelop met een overheadsheet-raampje gemaakt:
Because my first postcard lost all the fish in the mail I made an envelope with an acetate/transparency 'window' (how do you call this?) for this one:

De achterkant heb ik dichtgeplakt met een grote sticker waar ik het adres op kwijt kon.
The back is closed with a large adress sticker.

Een paar weken geleden schreef ik over een papierkreukeltechniek en Barbara heeft dat toen uitgeprobeerd met deze atc als resultaat. Die stuurde ze aan mij! Dank je wel Barbara. In het echt is hij nog vele male mooier!



A couple of weeks ago i posted about a paper scrunch technique and Barbara gave it a try. She made this wonderful atc and sent it to me. Thank you Barbara! It's even better IRL!
